I am Ramrao Nehare, a local nature guide in Tadoba-Andhari Tiger Reserve (TATR). My village, Nawegeon, is situated in Tadoba jungle. I grew up there. I have worked for the Forest Department as a tracker, protection hut worker, guide, cencus worker, fire control worker in every part of Tadoba. Now I work for SCF India, www.SCFIndia.com) as the coordinator of their Education project in schools and villages around TATR. Tadoba-Andhari Tiger reserve is a big bank of wildlife. Tadoba is famous for the Royal Bengal Tiger and other wild animals. Tadoba is situated in the eastern part of Maharashtra.
SCF India is trying to create awareness of the importance of flora and fauna in and around TATR. I’m visiting schools and conducting nature games, slides shows, painting, drawing and stories. I’m a local man so my English is not very good, but I want to share my opinion and wildlife experience with you and the rest of the world.
